Why we think Tyra Banks is a Type 3
Achieving repeatedly at the highest levels. From modeling and acting to hosting television shows and running her own production company, Banks has shown a desire to be successful in multiple fields, all in the public eye, and an ability to adapt in order to achieve in all of them. She was the first African-American woman to appear on the covers of GQ and the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. She has won numerous awards, including the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Talk Show/Informative in 2008 and 2009 for The Tyra Banks Show. And she created and produced America's Next Top Model, a reality TV show aimed at finding the next big name in the modeling industry.
Demeanor. Banks’ demeanor is a captivating combination of confidence, poise, and warmth. She is assertive and has a passion for empowering others, which makes her an inspirational and effective communicator.
Strong work ethic / workaholism. Banks has been open about her struggles with work-life balance and her workaholic tendencies. She shared with The Wall Street Journal in 2015 that she barely took any time off in her 20s.
