Upbuild 2025 One-Day Retreat

Mantra Meditation Retreat with Sacinandana Swami

New York City - Sunday June 1st

An invitation to Upbuild’s first ever in-person meditation retreat

For the first time, we invite you to a mantra meditation retreat open to anyone at any level of practice, and to those who have never practiced meditation before, with one of our foremost guides at Upbuild and a master of meditation, Sacinandana Swami. We’ll get to learn from him and make spiritual advancement over the course of a full day. He will equip us with tools to begin and nourish our personal meditation practice and offer us precious experiences in kirtan (musical meditation). There will be time to ask questions of Sacinandana Swami. For lunch, we’ll have a sacred meal together. The venue will be in NYC and announced in the coming weeks to those who register. Please register now and make your travel plans so that we can be sure to have you! Space is limited. There is no fee for joining. And please invite anyone who might be interested. More About Sacinandana Swami:
Sacinandana Swami has been a monk in the bhakti tradition for 50 years. He has inspired and guided our work at Upbuild since the very beginning in 2008. He is Hari Prasada's guru and has been a very dear teacher to Rasanath as well. He has lovingly invested in us personally and as an organization. He is known for his significant contribution to the practice of contemplation and meditation for modern practitioners of bhakti. Sacinandana Swami has published seven books and released two CDs, and offers an array of retreats, seminars, and workshops. Thousands of enthusiastic singers and dancers visit his kirtan concerts. He teaches at the Vrindavana Institute for Higher Education in India and the Bhaktivedanta College in Belgium. Furthermore, Sacinandana Swami serves as the spiritual guide for the Veda Academy, which is active in eight countries, and recently founded the organization, "Yoga Is Music". Fond of India’s sacred pilgrimage sites, he annually goes there to seek personal inspiration. Although his pilgrimages have taken him all over the subcontinent, he is particularly fond of the sacred land of Vrindavan, the birthplace of Lord Krishna.
