Otaku often seek out rare and exclusive items such as figurines, posters, limited-edition merchandise, and manga volumes, treating these collections as prized possessions. Collecting not only provides a sense of identity but also is a way to showcase their devotion to the characters and stories they love.
Reclusive tendencies. Otaku are often reclusive because they become deeply absorbed in their interests, prioritizing their hobbies over social interactions. This intense focus on consuming and creating content related to anime, manga, and video games leads to spending long hours alone, engaging in activities like watching series, reading manga, gaming, or participating in online communities.
