Why we think Mike Myers is a Type 7

• Demeanor. He comes across as friendly, energetic, engaging, and the life of the party. In interviews, he frequently cracks jokes and shares amusing anecdotes. For example, in an interview with Daivd Letterman, he shared the story of skinning his toe during a scooter accident in a very humorous way, despite the serious physical pain he suffered. 

• Optimism. Myers often displays a positive and upbeat attitude in interviews and public appearances. Even when speaking about darker or deeper topics, there is a lightness with which he approaches those topics. 

• Playfulness. Myers himself, and many of Myers' characters, like Austin Powers and Wayne Campbell, embody a sense of playfulness, adventure, and light-hearted fun-seeking (which makes Myers ideal for those roles).

• Spontaneity. Myers is known for his improvisational skills, which often involve coming up with humorous lines or situations on the spot. He shows up in a raw and unfiltered way, which gives us confidence that he is a Type 7, as opposed to a Type 3. 

• "Saturday Night Live." During his time on SNL, Myers created and portrayed numerous characters that showcased his versatility, spontaneity, and playful demeanor. These characters include Dieter from "Sprockets," Linda Richman from "Coffee Talk," and the hyperactive, often impulsive Philip from "The Philip the Hyper-Hypo Kid."
