Unique and authentic self-expression. Kesha's music and personal style are both highly distinctive. From her debut, she has been known for her unique blend of pop, dance, and electronic music, and her often irreverent, flamboyant, and glitter-covered style. Her willingness to stand out and be herself aligns with the Type 4's desire for individuality and authenticity.

A desire to inspire people to be themselves. In interviews and in her songs, Kesha often speaks about wanting to be a role model to help give people permission to be their true selves.
Emotional depth and honesty. Kesha has been open about her personal struggles, such as her battle with eating disorders and her legal struggles with former producer Dr. Luke. Her 2017 album Rainbow was particularly introspective, with lyrics that addressed her emotional struggles and recovery process.
Longing for authenticity. Kesha speaks about her aversion to doing work that doesn’t come from the depths of her heart and soul. She emphasizes putting emotions into her work.
