Why we think Danny Glover is a Type 6
Regular guy demeanor. In interviews, he comes across as laid back, thoughtful, honest, and often has his arms crossed, which is likely a way of “protecting” himself from the spotlight. In the interview with Mel Gibson below, he seems quite content to allow Gibson to be the center of attention.
Deflection of glory. In interviews, he often deflects conversations away from himself toward what others have done. He rarely talks about himself and appreciates being called "the guy next door."
Political and social activism. When he speaks about his activism (for civil rights, labor rights, environmental justice, etc.), it feels very matter of fact, like somebody's got to do it, so why not me, all hallmarks of the Type 6.
Fun and extroverted. In interviews, he can be playful and has an action-oriented energy to him (which makes us confident that he has a 7 Wing).
Supportive roles. In many of his film roles, Glover portrays characters who are similar to him in that they are supportive, reliable, and dependable, such as his role of Roger Murtaugh in the "Lethal Weapon" series.
Danny Glover quotes that show he is a Type 6
"I try to find hope in struggle and resistance in small places as much as I can."
“I'm not so vain as to believe that my involvement changes anything whatsoever.”
